5 YEAR OLDS
Classes will cover strength, balance, flexibility and basic gymnastics skills. Students will be introduced to the four women’s apparatus: Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor.
Building upon Butterfly class basics (but also appropriate for beginning 6 and 7 year olds) – this class will teach good gymnastics skills and will emphasize progression and proper technique for each skill. Offered in three age groups: 6-7, 8-10 and 11 & up.
Students who have successfully passed skill testing are eligible for this class. Students will continue to work on skills for each apparatus, leading into more advanced skills. This is an all-ages class.
Continuing on the progression of the Basic 2 class, Basic 3 girls classes work on more advanced skills, adding more strength and flexibility to their core curriculum. Students in this class and above are eligible to try out for our competitive teams in the spring. This is an all-ages class.
This is one of our more advanced level classes for girls. It builds upon the Basic 3 class skills on all four women’s apparatus with additional strength and flexibility work. This is an all-ages class and is a 2 hours long.
This two day per week class is our most advanced class for recreational girls, building upon Intermediate skills and introducing basic competitive level skills on all four women’s events without the commitment of our competitive teams. This 2 hour class is for all-ages.
GIRLS DEVELOPMENTAL TEAM
This two-day per week class is intended for those students who are progressing at a faster pace and are ready to work on more challenging skills. Taught by our competitive team coaches, this 90 minute, twice-per-week class will continually challenge your gymnast.
This three-day per week class is part of our Junior Olympic Team program and will prepare your gymnast for future competition in our Level 3 Junior Olympic Team. This class, taught by our competitive team coaches, is a two-hour, three-day-per-week class.
